I bet you have never heard of these! If your a bargain hunter you just found a diamond wanting to shine. Big City Cigars Company is long gone. It was a cigar that fell with the cigar boom. There is not much information out on these and I believe they went under in 2003-2004. I have only seen them once in a local shop in Henderson KY by Evansville IN and the only place on-line that carries them is L Lynn Cigars (no longer made) that I can find. You can get these with a Connecticut, Sumatra or Maduro wrapper. I’m finishing up my second bundle of these and wanted to put a review out on it since I have never seen one. Not many people know about these and for $22 a bundle I will have another order in soon.

Big City Cigar Review
Pre-light
I find pretty good construction, small veins and a silly name. No soft spots but a couple bumps. The cap is placed good. My cutter broke on me before I could cut it so the cut is off but they cut nice. The pictures did not turn out the best so if I get better pictures I will replace these.
First Third
First couple of draws had a heavy wood taste but it soon turned into a mild flavor with a good draw. Out of two bundles I have only found one that had a bad draw. The burn is not perfect but nothing I had to fix. The ash got to be about an inch before it dropped and it was not a solid ash but nice.
Second Third
The burn is still a little off but still do not need to fix it, this is burning good for such a cheap smoke. The cigar is still mild and pleasant. I do not taste any harshness in this cigar.
The Finish
I find a little spice but still mild, the spice is very faint.
Over all
at $22 a bundle (25) these are great smokes to run around with. The construction on these are about the best I have seen on a $1 cigar. If your a bargain hunter you will want to pick a bundle up. I think the next bundle I order will be the Robusto maduro. You can pick these up at lynncigars.com.
Update: These are no longer made. If you find them, please let me know.
